ONE tracking by container number

Enter a ONE container number (4 letters and 7 digits, like ONEU1234566). The tool checks it against its check digit, confirms from the prefix that the container is ONE's, and opens ONE's own tracking page, where you see its moves and arrival date. Free, with no sign-up.

How it works

How to track a ONE container

  1. 1

    Enter the container number

As it is on the container or the bill of lading, with or without spaces.

  2. 2

    We check the number

The check digit catches copying mistakes, and the prefix shows whether the container is ONE's.

  3. 3

    Open ONE's tracking page

There you see the container's moves, vessel and arrival date. ONE's page also takes the bill of lading or booking number.

Prefixes

ONE container prefixes

The first four letters of a container number name its owner. These are the prefixes registered to ONE:

  • ONEU
  • NYKU
  • MOLU
  • KKFU
  • KKTU
  • MOAU
  • MOEU
  • MOFU
  • MOGU
  • MORU
  • MOTU
  • MOSU
  • NYNU
  • FDCU

A container may carry a leasing company's prefix and still sail with ONE: then track it by the bill of lading or booking number on ONE's page.

The line

About ONE

Ocean Network Express (ONE) is a container shipping line headquartered in Singapore. It was formed from the container businesses of three Japanese companies, NYK, MOL and K Line, so their prefixes (NYKU, MOLU, KKFU and others) are ONE's.

ONE's tracking page
If the container doesn't show

Why doesn't my container show on the line's website?

  • It's a leased container: the prefix belongs to a leasing company, not the line, so search by bill of lading or booking number.
  • The number was copied wrong: check the last digit; the tool tells you the one it expected.
  • It hasn't reached the port yet: its moves usually show once the terminal receives it.
  • It's on another line: the line on the bill of lading tracks it, and that is not always the container's owner.

ONEU, NYKU, MOLU, KKFU, KKTU, MOAU, MOEU, MOFU, MOGU, MORU, MOTU, MOSU, NYNU, FDCU. A prefix not in this list usually belongs to a leasing company, whose containers any line may carry.
